All the Monkeys in the Zoo...

For the holiday on Monday, I took Annie and Krispy to the zoo. Krispy has been to the zoo when she was 2 and that was the last time we had been. It stinks being the youngest child. I would like to think we will do better and go to see more places so she doesn't get jipped but only time will tell.

The weather was nice. We did, however, take the zoo in record time. I think we could have slowed down, but Krispy wanted to see the Lion and Tiger and that was the last animal on our path. So we stopped at all the other animals along the way just to placate her. She was a good sport about having to wait. Here are our exploits of the day:
The elephants
Mr. Turtle (Mr. Turtle is my father, call me Crush - name the movie)K: I've never seen a Rhinocerous (or any other live animal, poor thing)Papa Baboon (he didn't move the whole time we were there) The Lion - Krispy's 2nd favorite (look close, he's in the middle)
#1 animal - the tiger
The tiger is in the middle, but you can't tell. The Mexican Wolf (he was running around the pen)
Rhiannon was trying to capture the moment as well. The most wild animals in the park.
We topped the day off at JC Penney outlet and got animal slippers (thanks to a sale) instead of buying crap at the zoo gift shop.

Don't allow Kay to comment on this blog about the last child syndrome. She would go on and on about the things that were lavished upon her older siblings that she didn't get to do.

Fun to see all those live animals we don't get to see very often. Thank goodness there aren't many tigers running around.

Fun to see Krispy and Annie in their unnatural habitats.
XOXOXO

And that was my first thought too!! Curse being the last child!

You know, you could've come to Tucson and gone to the zoo with us, we would've met you there!

Boo loves the zoo, and I should probably take her again before May, for two reasons: One, it's going to start getting hot, and Two because after having a baby I'm not going to feel much like a trip to the zoo.

The movie is Finding Nemo, although you got it wrong... "Dude, Mr. Turtle was my father. The name's Crush." Oh yeah, don't mess with the ultimate movie quoter!! ♥
